Historic National Bank project
This Majestic building on the corner of Center and Main will be the opening project for the Britt Group.
Phase 1 will be broken into 2 parts A and B
1A would be to:
(1) put a new permanent roof on the building (to stop the deterioration)
(2) to shore up and repair the upper windows to make it safe to remove the fencing around the east part of the building,
(3) to remove the fence and clean up the entry to allow for signage for the project and safe business foot traffic.
1B would be to:
(1) tear down and remove the debris from the west building area along the alley
(2) enclose the west side of the former bank.
2. Will be to formalize plans for the renovation and look for tenants.

The driving force behind our group was the deteriorating condition of some of the vacant buildings on Main street. These buildings and the condition they were in were inhibiting the community and the business district that we want to hold on to and to restore prominence as a center of community activity.
